We are Northwest photographers who simply enjoy capturing the beauty of our surroundings.  Some of our photos have appeared on Experience Washington and at Dauntless Books in Port Gamble.  Although we are local, we have also photographed the Oregon Coast, British Columbia and the sparsely photographed regions of northern Wisconsin and Michigan.  We hope you enjoy viewing our photos as much as we enjoy taking them.

My interest in photography began when I was able to start traveling independently.  To date, the bulk of my work has been outdoor/nature subjects finding inspiration in my native Midwest, New Orleans, Mexico, Europe, the west coast and the great Pacific Northwest.  Aesthetically, I find photography to be an almost parallel counterpart to my chosen profession as a musician.  Each split second of a sound wave, like an instance of reflected light, spurs both our senses and our imagination before it dissipates into the ether.  The creative process that becomes a photograph requires, like composition or improvisation, a mind ready to embrace impulses large and small, simple and complex.  This ethic informs my search to freeze the ephemeral principle of photography:  light and time.
